How these timings are calculated

Sunrise, sunset and every window on this page are calculated for the coordinates of {city} using the Drik (observational) method with the Lahiri Ayanamsa. The Panchangam day runs from one sunrise to the next, so a Tithi or Nakshatra shown with an end time changes during the day. Rahu Kalam, Yamagandam and Gulika Kalam are one-eighth portions of the daytime that depend on the weekday.
